OBLIVIUM – Ernesto Morales
curated by Karin Reisovà in the Gebbia Bortolotto Law Firm
Oblivium is the title of the exhibition by Ernesto Morales that creates visceral empathy as the music of Astor Piazzolla.
The refined, enigmatic and suspeded painting of the artist keep to investigate the reality beyond the material and, in this case, the environment of the everyday life that hosts loads of pleasure of visual dialogues.
The work of Ernesto Morales connects through different manifestations of the landscape, the places of the unconscious and of memory and the physical and mental migration, where things have sole texture of light and imagination. It carries with it the South American magical realism that belongs to him deeply and, in parallel, it is stretched to a constant research on developments in the language of painting .
